For the second year in a row, Alabama broke the Bulldogs’ hearts.Two seasons ago, the Crimson Tide beat Georgia with an improbable rally in the national title game. Last year, they did the same in the SEC Championship Game.Entering 2019, Georgia is expected to be a College Football Playoff contender once again. In order to get there and win an elusive national championship, they will probably have to beat Alabama at some point. Georgia is ranked in the top five of the recently-released preseason Coaches Poll. ESPN’s FPI projects them to be favored in all 12 regular season games this fall.Their most likely loss? At Auburn on November 16.The FPI gives the Bulldogs a 54.7 percent chance of winning that game. They are still the favorite, but that’s a lower percentage than for any other regular season matchup.Florida and Tennessee are projected to be the next toughest games games for the Bulldogs.
