Whether for all the right or wrong reasons, the game has gathered a lot of attention. Lately, the game started facing bans from many countries, including some Indian states, on account of affecting players across all age groups. A few weeks ago, the Chinese government also changed regulations to tackle some negative aspects of games and PUBG MOBILE falls prey to it – it is dead.Tencent Games has pulled off the plug on PUBG MOBILE in China after the Chinese government required all games to eliminate blood and gore from games. According to a report from Reuters, Tencent took to Weibo announce that the test version of PUBG MOBILE is withdrawn. Therefore, players won’t be able to play or download the test version of the game. However, to counter the effects, Tencent rolled out a new game that does comply with the Chinese government regulations. Called the Game for Peace, this game is more in-line with the requirements of the new regulations. At the same time, it does eliminate the blood and gore that PUBG MOBILE had in abundance. The game is developed by Krafton, previously known as Bluehole – the same South Korean studio that developed PUBG MOBILE. Hence, the graphics quality is pretty similar to what players experienced in PUBG MOBILE.The new game also carries military-themed gameplay similar to the PUBG MOBILE. However, the overall theme falls in line with the anti-terrorism theme. For those who have been playing PUBG MOBILE, their progress will be transferred to the new game with all the achievements and rewards adjusted.advertisementBut you must be wondering how have the developers managed to get rid of dead bodies and blood in a military-themed game? Instead of crates and bloodshed, the new game makes the dead bodies get up and wave goodbye before disappearing. While the new game has replaced PUBG MOBILE in China, Tencent hasn’t mentioned anything about PUBG MOBILE”s plans in other markets. The game is still available to download and play in India on both Android and iOS platforms.ALSO READ | Redmi flagship will offer long-lasting battery life and sport in-display fingerprint sensorALSO READ | Google working on foldable Pixel phone but official release will take timeALSO READ | Apple will soon finalise location for first retail store in IndiaGet real-time alerts and all the news on your phone with the all-new India Today app. Download from Post your comment Do You Like This Story?
